Castings Production

We are located right near the 5 Star Midc Industrial Area in Kagal, which is part of Kolhapur. It gets pretty busy around here with all the trucks and people moving back and forth to the factories. Most days, we are just focused on the work at hand. Castings Production isn't a fancy place with a big lobby or anything like that. It’s a workshop where we deal with metal and molds. You can hear the machines running from the street. The air smells like iron and oil most of the time. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Some of the guys have been working here since they were young. We get our tea from the small stall down the road. It’s a straightforward setup. People come by to check on their orders or just to talk about what needs doing next. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the real work happens on the floor where the heat is. Kolhapur is known for this kind of work, so we just try to keep up with what’s expected. Sometimes the power goes out or the weather makes things difficult, but that’s just how it is in Kagal. We open up early and stay until the day's tasks are finished. It’s not a complicated life, just a lot of manual labor and making sure the pieces come out right before they leave the gate. We keep things moving.
