Balaji Exports

Our office is set up inside Prasad Udyog, which is at Plot No. D-2/2 (a) in the M. I. D. C area of Gokul Shirgaon. Being in an industrial zone like this means there is always the sound of machinery or trucks moving in the background. It isn't a quiet place, but it is where the work happens. We handle the export side of things from this small corner. It is a lot of coordinating with the factory floor and checking on the boxes before they are loaded up. The dust from the road sometimes gets in, so we are always wiping down the desks. We do not have a receptionist or a lobby with plants; it is just a practical workspace with what we need to get through the day. We spend hours on the phone with various agents and making sure the customs papers are all in order. Gokul Shirgaon is a bit out of the way for some, but for us, it is right where we need to be to stay close to the production. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the exports out on time. It is a lot of repetitive work, checking weights and labels over and over, but that is how you avoid problems later on. We have been in this spot for quite a while now and we like the pace of the industrial estate.
