Arte Gifts & Decor

Hupari is a place where people know their neighbors, and that’s where you’ll find Arte Gifts & Decor. We are located right at Shivaji Chowk, specifically at Gat No. 41/1. It’s a central spot, so we see a lot of what’s going on in town from our front door. The shop is full of things meant to make a house look a little nicer, like vases or wall hangings and various gift items. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that; it’s just us here, opening up the shutters every morning and sweeping the floor. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we have to wipe things down pretty often. We like having a shop in Hupari because it feels familiar. People stop by to chat as much as they do to buy anything. We try to keep a variety of decor pieces, though sometimes we overstock on one thing and have to find room for it on the top shelves. The lighting in the shop isn't perfect, but it shows the items well enough for the locals. We spend a lot of time just rearranging the displays when things get sold. It’s a simple business, really. We just want to have nice things available for when someone needs a gift for a housewarming or a local festival. Every day is pretty much the same, which is just fine by us.
