Altech Alloys India Pvt. Ltd. is located at Plot No. A - 83/2 in the MIDC area of the Kagal-Hatkanangale Industrial Area. It’s out in the Taluka of Kagal. We work with different types of metal alloys here. Our place is more of a factory than an office. It gets very hot near the furnaces, especially during the summer months. We’ve been operating in this industrial belt for a long time now. The site is a bit spread out, with stacks of raw metal and finished ingots or parts waiting for pickup. We aren't a corporate setup with polished floors. It’s a grit-and-grind type of environment. We spend our days checking the mixtures and making sure the metal is cooling right. If something goes wrong with a batch, we have to start all over again, which is frustrating but part of the business. Most of our staff are from the local villages nearby. We don't do any big promotions. We just focus on the technical side of the work. Kagal is a good place for this kind of industry because of the space and the utilities. We have our fair share of equipment breakdowns and rainy days that slow us down. We just keep moving forward. It’s a heavy industry job, and we take it as it comes. We aren't looking for awards, just to get the alloys out to the clients on time.
