Ajit Belkude Tours & Travels

Down in Lane No 1 in Jaysingpur, that’s where you’ll find us. Ajit Belkude Tours & Travels is a small operation, mostly just handling local trips and some longer journeys for families. This lane can be a bit tight for parking sometimes, but we manage somehow. The office is small and we’ve got some old maps on the wall that have been there for years. We like being in this part of Kolhapur because it’s quiet enough to get work done but close to the main parts of town. Usually, the mornings are the busiest when the drivers come in to check their schedules. We have a few chairs for customers, though they usually don't stay long. We spend a lot of time checking the vehicles and making sure everything is ready to go. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everyone, but we’ve got a system that works for us. It’s mostly just hard work and being here when people need a ride. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find out about us anyway. When the sun goes down, the lane gets a bit dark, but we usually stay open late to make sure the last bookings are finished. It’s a decent way to make a living and we know a lot of the families around here who use our services regularly. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
