Siddisamanvaya Chits Private Limited

We are located out in Boppanahally, near the Hurulagere Post area in Malur-Kolar. Our chit fund is run by a small group of us who have lived in this area for a long time. We handle the monthly auctions and keep the records for all the members who participate. Most of the people who join us are local farmers or shopkeepers from the nearby villages. They come by when they have a bit of extra money to put away or when it is their turn to take the pot for a big expense. We do not have a big corporate office with fancy furniture. It is just a regular room with some desks and chairs where we meet. Sometimes the weather makes the roads a bit dusty around here, but people still make it over for the meetings. We try to keep everything very clear so nobody gets confused about the numbers or the dates. Chits are a common way of saving in our part of Kolar, and we just provide the structure for it to happen. It is important to us that the books stay right. We spend a good amount of time double-checking the entries after everyone leaves for the day. Being in a place like Malur, you get to know everyone by their first name. We aren't trying to be a big city institution. We just want to make sure the local community has a way to pool their money.
