Our refinery is in Gauribidanur at the SAS Buildings on M.G. Road. It’s right across from the Aravinda School. You can't miss the big gates. We process oils here. It’s a very busy place with a lot of noise from the pumps and the boilers. There are always tankers waiting to be filled or emptied. The ground is often a bit slick so you have to watch your step. We don't have a polished corporate office. The main room has some old desks and a lot of logbooks. We keep track of the temperatures and the flow rates every hour. It’s hard work and it gets very hot near the machines. We have a small crew of guys who have been here since the refinery opened. We eat our lunch together in the shade of the main building. We don't spend money on advertising. The oil speaks for itself. People in the town know us as the place near the school. We have a lot of pipes and tanks that need constant maintenance. Sometimes something breaks and we have to spend all night fixing it. That’s just part of the job. We don't have a mission statement or any of that. We just make sure the oil is refined properly before it leaves the gate. It is honest work that keeps us all busy from morning until night.
