I’m currently based on Temple Road in Kolar, at house number 36. My whole day is basically built around pursuing studies. Kolar is a bit of a slower town compared to the big cities, and Temple Road is exactly what it sounds like—plenty of people going to and from the temples. It’s a good place to stay focused because there aren't too many distractions, though the temple bells and the morning prayers can be quite loud sometimes. My desk is usually covered in textbooks and notebooks, and I spend hours just reading and trying to memorize things for the next set of exams. It’s not an easy life, just a lot of sitting and studying. Sometimes I walk down the road to get some tea or just to stretch my legs. The house is old but it works for what I need. I don’t have much of a staff or an office; it’s just me and my books. The local neighbors are quiet for the most part, which helps when I need to concentrate late at night. I keep track of my schedule on a small calendar pinned to the wall. It’s a lot of repetition—reading, writing, and then doing it all over again the next day. There’s a certain rhythm to it that you get used to after a while. I’m just trying to get through the curriculum and make some progress every single day.
