Mm Granite

Our shop is tucked into the Kaaba Complex right on M.B. Road. If you are driving by, you might miss us if you are going too fast because the traffic there gets a bit wild sometimes. It is not a huge place, but we manage to fit quite a bit of granite into the space we have at 35/7/65. Every morning starts the same way, opening up the shutters and checking what came in on the last delivery. The M.B. Road area stays busy from morning until late, so there is always noise from the street coming inside. We spend a lot of time on our feet, walking back and forth between the slabs and the little desk in the corner. Sometimes the stone has little chips or marks, and we have to point those out because that is just how natural material is. It isn't perfect, and neither are we. People come in with sketches on scraps of paper, trying to figure out how much they need for a small bathroom or a set of stairs. We grab the measuring tape and do the math right there. It feels good to see someone find a pattern they actually like after looking through twenty different pieces. We don't do much fancy talking. We just show the granite, tell you what it costs, and help you get it moved. It is a straightforward way to make a living.
