India Today Group

Over here at 408/2 in Nischinda East, things are usually pretty active. This India Today Group spot is located in the Ghosh Para area of Bally, Howrah. It’s not the main headquarters or anything, just our local presence in this part of West Bengal. The building is easy to spot once you get into the lane. We spend a lot of time tracking what’s happening around the city and making sure information gets where it needs to go. There’s always a bit of a rush, especially when there’s news breaking nearby. The staff here is used to the pace. We drink a lot of tea and spend hours on the phone or looking at screens. Being in Howrah means we deal with the local crowds and the humidity, but it’s home for us. The office itself is functional. We have the usual stuff like desks, some old newspapers lying around, and plenty of wires everywhere. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s what happens when you’re busy. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders because we’re usually too focused on the next deadline. Neighbors stop by occasionally to chat or ask about something they saw. We try to keep things simple and honest. It’s just a group of people working together in a regular neighborhood, trying to keep up with everything that's going on in the world today. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do here in Bally every day.
