You can find Chandan Sauce Co over at 27/A in the Kiadba Industrial Estate in Malur. It is a standard industrial unit, nothing too special to look at from the outside. But inside, we are usually pretty busy. Making sauce is a messy business, and our floors show it. We’ve got vats and bottling lines that keep us on our toes all day. Malur is a good place for us because of the transport links. We can get our ingredients in and our bottles out without too much trouble. We don't have a big office with a receptionist. Usually, if the phone rings, whoever is closest to it picks it up. We are a small team and we’ve all been here for a while. We know each other’s habits and how to get the work done together. We don't talk about synergy or market share. We just talk about whether the consistency is right or if the labels are straight. It’s a practical way to live. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves with a wrench and some patience. That’s just how a real shop runs. We aren't looking for awards. We just want people to enjoy what we make. If you're driving through the industrial estate, you'll see our sign. It's a bit faded from the sun, but we're still here doing our thing.
