We are located in Vivekananda Nagar over in Bangarpet, which is part of Kolar. Our shop is near Kuvempu Circle on Madaiah Road. It is a pretty busy corner of the town. We spend our days baking and making various sweets and snacks. It is a lot of flour and sugar and waking up very early in the morning. We are not some big industrial bakery that makes everything with machines. It is just a local place where we make things by hand for the most part. The oven is almost always on, and it gets pretty hot in there, especially during the summer afternoons. We have been at this location for a good while now. Everyone around here knows where Kuvempu Circle is, so we are fairly easy to find if you are looking. Our name is Cakegalaxy, but we are just regular folks who happen to like baking. We do not have any big awards or anything to show off. Just the local people who come in for their daily bread or maybe a cake for a kid's birthday. We try our best to get the recipes right every time, though sometimes things do not turn out exactly perfect. That is just how baking goes when you do it yourself. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything. Most people just walk in because they smell the fresh bread. It is a simple life we have here and we just keep at it.
