BHUWALKA CASTINGS & FORGING (P) LTD.

We operate out of Plot No. 17, 18, 19, and 20 in the Tamaka Industrial Area in Kolar. It’s a big space because we need it for the castings and forgings we do. It gets very hot in the plant, especially when the furnaces are running. You can hear the hammers from quite a distance away. This isn't a clean job. There’s soot and metal dust everywhere, and everyone wears heavy boots. We’ve been here in Karnataka for a long time. The industrial area is where we belong. It’s noisy and busy, but that’s where the work gets done. We have a lot of people working here, some who have been with us since the beginning. They know the machines better than anyone. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture in the office. It’s mostly just metal desks and filing cabinets. When we aren't on the floor, we are checking the schedules and making sure the raw materials arrived on time. Trucks are coming in and out all day long. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the generators to kick in. That's just how it is in an industrial zone. We don't make any promises about being the best or anything like that. We just do the work we are paid for and try to do it right. It’s tough work, and the days are long, but we’ve built a solid rhythm here in Tamaka over the years.
