Balasubramanian Super Market

Balasubramanian Super Market is located in the 2nd Phase of the Malur Industrial Area, over in Kasaba Hobli. It’s an interesting place to have a shop because of all the factories and workers nearby. We have a lot of the supplies that folks in the industrial area need, from basic groceries to household cleaning stuff. The address is 120, and we’ve been here long enough that people know the shortcut to get to us. It’s not exactly a quiet neighborhood, what with the trucks and the industrial noise, but we’re used to it. The store is larger than some of the others around, so we can keep a decent amount of stock on hand. We try to keep the aisles clear so workers who are on their break can find what they need quickly. We know they don’t have a lot of time to waste. The shelves have everything from snack packets to large bags of flour. Sometimes the delivery vans take up all the parking space out front, which can be a bit of a headache. But we manage to keep things moving. Running a market in Alur Taluk is steady work. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is just done by hand and memory. It’s a plain, honest shop for people who work hard in the area. We close up once the shift workers have mostly finished their shopping for the day and the street lights come on in the industrial park.
