Raymond Apperal Ltd

Our spot is down in Sonar Pur, specifically in the Kamal Gazi area of Kolkata. We operate under the name Raymond Apperal Ltd. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always something happening outside on the streets. We spend most of our time inside the building sorting out the clothes and making sure everything is counted right. It’s a simple setup. We don't have any fancy furniture or big meeting rooms like those big companies. We just have tables, racks, and the stuff we actually need to work. Some of us have lived in Sonar Pur our whole lives. It’s nice to work close to home. The commute isn’t too bad if you know the shortcuts through Kamal Gazi. We just come in, do the work, and go home to our families. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather is bad outside, but we just keep going anyway. It’s the kind of place where you learn how things work by actually doing them with your hands. We don’t follow a thick manual or anything like that. We just know what needs to happen with the apparel day in and day out. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't affect the quality of the work we do. We’re just a regular group of people working at this Kolkata location. It stays pretty honest and straightforward around here. No big surprises.
