Maya Weaves

We are located on S N Avenue in the Narendrapur area. It is a bit further out, but it’s a place we have grown to like. Maya Weaves is the name we use for our business here. The neighborhood is a bit more relaxed than the center of the city, though Narendrapur is definitely growing fast. S N Avenue can get quite dusty when the wind picks up, and there is usually some kind of road work happening nearby. We spend our time working with various weaves and textiles. Our workspace is filled with the smell of cloth and the sound of people working. It is not a polished showroom; it is more of a functional space where things actually get made. We have a small group of people here who have been with us for a long time. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and keep at it until the evening. Sometimes we lose track of time when we are busy with a big order. There are no fancy offices or glass walls here, just a lot of hard work and simple tools. We like being in Narendrapur because it feels a bit more grounded. People around here know each other, and it feels like a real neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and do our work. It’s not fancy, but it is ours. We are happy here.
