Raja Steel Letter

If you head down Garia Boral Main Road, near the Boral Municipality building, you’ll find our workshop. Raja Steel Letter is where we spend our days working with metal. It’s a loud place, lots of banging and the sound of cutting steel. We make letters and signs, mostly. It’s a craft we’ve been doing for a while now. There’s dust and scraps of metal everywhere, but we know where everything is. It’s not a clean office environment, it’s a shop. We get our hands dirty every single day. People come to us when they need something solid that’s going to last outside in the weather. We use simple tools and a bit of muscle to get the shapes right. Being near the Boral Municipality makes us easy to find, which is good because the main road gets quite crowded. We don’t have a big sales pitch. You either need a steel letter or you don’t. We just show people what we’ve finished and they usually like it. It’s honest work. Sometimes the machines act up, or a piece of steel doesn’t bend quite right, and we have to start over. That’s just part of the job. We don’t mind. We’ve been at this location for a long time and the locals know the sound of our hammers by now. We just stay focused on the metal and getting the edges smooth enough so nobody gets cut.
