Zumai Bottling & Distillery Private Limited is located at Manoj Kr Machahary’s place in Bhabanipur, Kokrajhar. We are part of the BTAD region. Our facility is a practical space where we handle the bottling and distilling work. It is not a decorative place. We have the machinery set up and enough room for the crates and bottles. Manoj Kr Machahary oversees the operations here. The area in Bhabanipur is a mix of homes and small businesses, so we are right in the middle of a working neighborhood. Every morning, we start the machines and the noise fills the building. We have a routine of cleaning, filling, and sealing that we follow every single day. It can be repetitive, but we take it seriously because that is the job. We don't have a front desk with a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk into the main area and find one of us. We are often covered in the dust of the workplace or busy moving heavy boxes around. The summers here in Kokrajhar get very hot, so we try to get the heavy work done before the midday heat hits its peak. We are just a local group of workers doing our best to keep the production line moving. We don't use big words to describe ourselves. We just do the bottling work and go home to our families when the shift is over.
