All Assam Career

This is a small setup located in Kokrajhar, Assam. We spend most of our time looking through job listings and trying to help people find what they are looking for in terms of work. The office is pretty basic, just a few computers and some chairs in a room. In Kokrajhar, things move a bit slower than in the big cities, which is fine by us. We see a lot of young people coming in who are worried about their future or just don't know where to start looking for a career. We try to keep track of the different exams and government openings that come up across the state. Sometimes the internet connection is a bit slow, which can be frustrating when we are trying to upload information or check a new list. We don't charge people crazy amounts of money or promise things we can't do. It’s more about just being a place where someone can get some help with their paperwork or find out which department is hiring. The local community knows we are here, and people often just drop by for a quick chat about the latest news. It is a humble kind of work, but it feels important given how hard it can be to find a steady job these days. We just keep doing our bit from our little corner here in Assam, making sure the local youth have a place to turn.
