Zatara Tea Pvt Ltd sits right in Ao Khasiram. If you know where the Ao Church is, we are just on the opposite side of the road. It's a busy little spot, especially in the mornings when people are heading to work and the bells are ringing nearby. We spend most of our time here dealing with different kinds of tea leaves that come in from the gardens. There is always a lot of heavy lifting involved, moving sacks from the trucks into the storage area. It gets pretty dusty, and some days the humidity makes everything feel a bit sticky. We do not have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is mostly just a workspace with some desks and plenty of room for the tea. Our team is small, just a few of us who have lived around here for a long time. We usually have a kettle going in the back for ourselves, which seems right considering what we do for a living. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to chat about the weather or the traffic on the main road. Dealing with the paperwork takes up more time than I would like, but that is how it goes when you are running a business. We try to keep things organized, though folders tend to pile up on the corners of tables. It is not a perfect system, but we know where everything is. The tea smells good when the crates are opened, and that is a nice part of being here.
