V Motors

If you are driving along National Highway No.9 in Kohima, you’ll find V Motors over in Ward No.16. We are right near Modern College, which is a good landmark for anyone who isn't sure where to turn. It’s a busy part of the road, and we see a lot of cars going past every day. The weather here in Kohima can be a bit unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time either keeping out of the rain or enjoying the sun when it actually shows up. The shop itself is just a regular place where we look at engines and try to figure out what’s wrong with them. We’ve seen all sorts of vehicles come through here over the years. Some are easy to fix and others take up the whole afternoon. We don’t have a big office or anything, just the workspace and a place to sit. Most of the guys here are from around this part of town. We talk to the students from the college sometimes when they walk by. It’s a decent spot to be in. We just focus on the cars and making sure we have the right parts on the shelf. It’s not always easy work, especially when it’s cold out, but we stay busy enough. We don’t do any big speeches about what we do. We just open up in the morning and see who needs help with their truck or car. It's just a regular local garage where we get the work done.
