L P Sohe & Sons

L P Sohe & Sons is a family business located at B-90, right near the High School and the Fisher Office. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and everyone around here knows us. It started small and it’s stayed pretty grounded. We do a bit of everything that involves local services and supplies. The building itself is old and has a lot of character, though it could probably use a fresh coat of paint one of these days. Inside, it’s a mix of an office and a storage area. We have piles of records going back years. My sons and I run the place now, and we keep things simple. We don't use any fancy software or anything like that, just ledgers and a lot of memory. People stop by all the time, sometimes just to chat or ask for advice on something. Being near the school means it gets quite loud in the afternoons when the kids are heading home. We’re used to the noise and the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We treat everyone who walks through the door like a neighbor because most of them are. We don't promise anything we can't do. It’s just about being reliable and being there when people need us for a job. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but we’re still right here in the same spot.
