Alder Tours And Travels is located in the Hotel Blue Bayou Building on NH 29. We are right in Midland Colony, directly across from the Second World War Cemetery. Being near such a famous landmark means we get visitors from all over the world. It is a very somber and beautiful place to look out at every morning. Kohima is a hilly place, and our spot on the national highway is quite convenient for people traveling through. We handle a lot of different travel arrangements for locals and tourists alike. The office is not anything special to look at, just a functional space with some desks and chairs. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with drivers and other guides. The traffic on NH 29 can be quite loud, especially with the trucks going by. We have been in this building for some time now and we have seen the city change quite a bit. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people seeing our sign or hearing about us from the hotel staff. It is a steady kind of life. We know the roads around Nagaland pretty well because we have to. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but we just adapt. We are just local people trying to help others see the sights or get to their destination. It is a simple business model based on being where people need us.
