Acls Book Centre

Our shop is in the Nst Complex, and we use Post Box No 418 for our mail. Being near the transport hub means there is always something going on outside. You can hear the buses pulling in and out, and there is a constant stream of people moving past the windows. The shop itself is a bit of a climb if you are coming from the lower street level. We have a lot of shelving that we built ourselves to fit into the corners of the room. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we generally know where everything is kept. The air can get a bit damp when it rains, so we have to be careful with the stock. We spend a lot of time checking the post box to see what has arrived. There is a small counter where we sit, and usually, there is a newspaper or a half-eaten snack sitting there. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of fans that do their best when it gets humid. It’s a very practical environment where we focus on getting books into the hands of whoever needs them. The walls have some scuffs from moving boxes around, and the floor is a bit uneven in places. It is just a regular local business doing its thing in a busy part of town. We’ve been at this complex for quite a while now and know all the other shopkeepers nearby.
