Chemist

Our place is situated in Anandpur, which is part of the Kodinar area in Junagadh district. We are right there in the village, so everyone knows where to find the chemist. The address is pretty straightforward, just At/Post Anandpur. We have been serving the people around here in Gujarat for a long time. It is a rural area, so things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We don't have a large showroom or anything like that. It is just a sturdy building with all the medicines kept safely inside. We get our supplies from the bigger distributors and then make sure the local families can get what they need without traveling too far. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, but we keep the counters clean. Most of our day is spent talking to people from the nearby farms. We help them find the right tablets or syrups. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or big advertisements. We just stay open during the hours we promised. Sometimes when the harvest is happening, it gets very busy, and other times it is very quiet. We just sit on our stools and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It is a simple life being a chemist here. We know the history of the families who come in. We are just part of the village fabric now.
