Shine International School

You’ll find Shine International School over on Chandranarni Ashram Road, just off the Hazaribad Road in Suriya. It’s a busy area and we’re right in the thick of it. Giridih is where we call home. We’ve got a building that houses our classrooms and some office space. It’s not a five-star facility, but it’s clean and it works for the kids. Every day is a bit different. One day we might be dealing with a leaky pipe, and the next we’re planning a small sports day for the students. We don’t put on airs or pretend to be something we aren’t. We’re just a local school trying to provide a place for education. The staff here are mostly from around the Suriya area. We see each other at the market or the bus stop. It’s that kind of place. We don’t use any corporate jargon or fancy slogans. We just get on with the job. The students are loud and full of energy, which is how it should be. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that’s just part of the administrative side of things. We’ve been at this address for a while and the community knows us. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the kids reciting their lessons or playing during their break. It’s a simple, honest setup and we like it that way. No big bells or whistles, just a school for our kids.
