Royal Plastic Point

Our shop is number 10 in the Ujala Complex. It's right near the auto stand in Jhumri Tilaiya, so it can get pretty noisy with the rickshaws honking all day long. Royal Plastic Point has been here for a good bit now. We deal with plastic goods mostly. It’s a small space, so we have to stack things high up to the ceiling to fit everything in. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific item quickly, but we usually know where everything is tucked away in the back. The district gets quite hot in the summer, and the shop can get a bit stuffy during the afternoons. We keep a small fan going all day to keep air moving. It’s a family-run thing. My uncle started it and now I’m here most days helping out. We don't bother with fancy displays or any of that. It’s just shelves and stacks of products. People come in, ask for what they need, and we help them find it. It’s straightforward. We don’t spend money on ads. The sign outside is a bit faded but people still find us easily enough. We know the other shopkeepers in the complex well. We share tea and talk about the local news. It’s a nice community to be part of. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around. We just like having a steady place to work every morning and seeing our regular customers.
