Kunda Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at House No 4 in the village of Medwadih. We are in the Chatra district, with our post office and police station being in Kunda. It’s a very rural setting, which makes sense since we work with farmers. The village of Medwadih is a quiet place where life moves a bit slower than in the big cities. Our office is just a regular house that we use for our operations. We have a few rooms set aside for meetings and record-keeping. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't from around here, but the locals can point you to House No 4 without any trouble. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or sitting on the porch talking to people about their crops. There’s a lot of dust in the dry season and plenty of mud when it rains, so we aren't always looking our sharpest. But that’s just how it is when you’re working on the ground in Jharkhand. We don't have any fancy technology, just the stuff we absolutely need to keep the company running. Most of our day is spent dealing with practical problems and making sure everyone is on the same page. It’s an honest way to make a living and we appreciate the people in Chatra who work with us. We just keep things moving and try to deal with whatever the day brings our way, from seasonal planting to the regular paperwork.
