Shakti Offset

Shakti Offset is located in Ward No-2 of Jhumri Telaiya Basti. We are right near the Sai Iron Factory, which is a big landmark around here that everyone knows. If you can find the iron factory, you can find us just a short walk away. We do offset printing, which keeps us pretty busy most of the time. The machines are old and they make a lot of noise, but they still work well enough for us. The Basti is a crowded place, and there is always a lot of activity going on outside the door. We have been here for a long time and everyone in the ward knows us by now. We print things like wedding cards, flyers, and local notices for the community. Our shop is often full of stacks of paper and the smell of ink is everywhere you turn. It’s not a polished office with desks, just a workspace where we get things done. We don't have any formal business training; we just learned how to run the presses over the years by doing it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around for it to come back, but that’s just part of living in the district. We usually sit outside on stools when we have a break to catch some air. It’s a simple life for us. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide printing for the local people who need it done.
