Paddy Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our place is in Kodali, in the P.O Paddy area of Kodakara. It is a bit of a mouthful to say, but it is home for us. As you can guess from the name, we do a lot with paddy. Rice is a big part of life around here, and we are right in the middle of it. Our office is a small spot where we coordinate the planting and the harvesting schedules. It’s not a fancy place. We have some old desks and a lot of maps of the local fields. Farming in Kodakara has its challenges, but we have been doing it for generations. We formed this producer company to help each other out. It is better to work as a group than to try and do everything on your own. We spend a lot of time out in the mud, checking the water levels and making sure the grains are growing right. It’s honest work. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we are something we’re not. We are just farmers. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it’s supposed to, and we all worry together. Other times, the harvest is plenty and we celebrate. We keep our books in order and try to be fair to everyone involved. If you visit Kodali, you will find us easily enough. We are just regular people trying to do right by the land and the crop.
