Vijay Exports

We've been based out of this spot near Building No- 3 for a while now. It’s a bit of a maze getting back to Got No- 2 if you aren’t used to the layout here, but we like it. Vijay Exports isn't a massive operation with fancy glass walls or anything like that. Most days it is just us, sitting at the desks, making sure the paperwork for the latest shipments gets filed correctly. It gets pretty loud outside during the afternoons when the trucks are coming and going, but you get used to the noise after a few weeks. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. We started this because we needed a way to get local goods out to other places, and it just kind of grew from there without much of a plan. The office is usually cluttered with samples and old ledgers that we really should organize better. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers, trying to figure out why things are running late. It’s not always smooth, and sometimes we make mistakes with the logs, but we always fix them eventually. If you walk past Building 3, you’ll probably see us unloading something or just standing outside for a quick break. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get things done without too much fuss or complicated systems.
