Tata Coffee Ltd

Over in Kushal Nagar, at 24-9-35, things stay pretty steady. We are out in Kudige, which isn't the busiest place but it has its own rhythm. Tata Coffee Ltd has been part of this area for quite some time. The building is a standard one, nothing that stands out too much from the other spots in the neighborhood. We have some trees around the perimeter that give a bit of shade during the hotter months. The inside is mostly open space where we handle the daily logs and the beans. It’s a lot of manual work, even with the systems we have. People in Kudige know us mostly by the location. We don’t do much advertising around town. If someone needs to find us, they usually just ask for directions near the main road. The gates open early in the morning and stay open until the sun starts to go down. Sometimes we have tea together in the small break area we set up in the corner. It’s not a fancy breakroom, just a table and some stools. The floors are swept every day but the dust always finds a way back in. We don't mind. It's just part of working in a place like this. We keep things moving and try to stay organized without making too much of a fuss. The days are long but we like the work we do here. It is just honest labor.
