Clan Coffee Private Limited is located at shop number five in Kudlur Village. It’s part of the Kushalnagar Hobli area in Somwarpet Taluk. We spend our days surrounded by coffee bags and the smell of raw beans. The shop itself is pretty small and doesn’t have any fancy decorations. We have a few chairs and a desk where we handle the paperwork for the business. Working in Kodagu means the weather is always changing. Sometimes it’s very misty and damp, which affects how we have to store the coffee. We spend a lot of time just moving sacks around and making sure everything is dry. It’s a lot of physical work and my clothes usually smell like coffee by the time I go home. We are just a small group of people doing our thing here in Kudlur.
