Naresh & Co

Out on Kodad Road, you’ll find our little office at 1-478-236. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Naresh & Co has been operating from here for a good while. The space isn’t much to look at, just some sturdy tables and a couple of cabinets that don’t quite close right anymore. We’ve got a small window that looks out onto the street, but it’s usually too noisy to keep it open for long. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of the calculator and people talking. We don't have a receptionist or any of that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door goes to see who it is. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us and the people who come to see us. Sometimes we get caught up chatting with a visitor for an hour about nothing in particular before we even get to the business part. The floor is tiled but cracked in the corners. We’ve thought about moving to a newer building, but this spot on Kodad Road feels like home now. It’s easy to find, and everyone knows where we are. We just show up, do what needs to be done for the day, and lock up when the sun goes down. Nothing more to it.
