Vnc Hospitals

Vnc Hospitals is over here in Chakkaraparambu, right near the Holiday Inn. Most people use the hotel as a landmark when they are trying to find the Vijayalakshmi Medical Centre building where we operate. It is not a fancy glass skyscraper or anything like that. It is just a practical building that has been around for a bit. The lobby has those standard plastic chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job for the people waiting around. Usually, there is some traffic noise coming in from the main road, but you get used to it after a while. The hallway floors have a few scuffs from all the stretchers and people walking back and forth all day. We have a small corner where the staff usually keeps a kettle for tea during the slow moments in the afternoon. It gets a bit bright in the mornings when the sun hits the front windows, so we usually keep the blinds halfway down. The parking out front can be a bit of a squeeze if it’s a busy Tuesday, but most folks manage to find a spot eventually. We spend a lot of time just keeping the paperwork organized and making sure the rooms are ready for whoever walks in next. It’s a busy kind of life here, but it is what it is. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the neighborhood has changed around us quite a bit.
