We are based at 33/1882 on Adappilly Road. It’s a busy little stretch of road with a lot of shops, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. The building itself is an older style, and you can tell that by the way the windows are shaped and how the stairs creak a bit. Inside, the air usually has a bit of a faint, pleasant scent to it, like herbs or oils, which I guess is expected for a place like ours. We have wooden shelves packed with products from floor to ceiling in some parts of the back room. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a big shipment in from the factory, but we always make it work somehow. The front door stays open most of the day to let a bit of a breeze in, although it also lets in all the noise of the scooters and cars zooming past. We don't have a fancy reception desk or a waiting room, just a simple wooden counter where we keep the records and handle the daily paperwork. Most of us have been working here together for a long time, so we know where every single bottle is kept on the shelves. Sometimes the heavy rain in the monsoon season makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but we just put out some extra mats and keep going. It’s a simple way of doing things. We just focus on the daily tasks.
