T V Sundram Iyengar & Sons Ltd

Our place is located right on the National Highway in Kaloor. It’s a spot everyone knows because of how central it is. Working at T V Sundram Iyengar & Sons Ltd means seeing a lot of trucks and cars passing by all day long. The noise from the highway is something you just get used to after a week. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the building has seen better days, but it serves its purpose. We handle parts and vehicle stuff. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. Sometimes the supply chain gets a bit slow, and we have to tell people to wait, which isn't always fun. We aren't fancy people. Most of us have lived in Kochi our whole lives. We know the local shops and where to get the best snacks nearby. During the monsoon, the water sometimes pools near the entrance, but we just sweep it away and keep going. We don’t have a big marketing team writing stuff for us. This is just how we talk. We show up, do the work, and try to be helpful when someone walks in looking for a specific part. It’s a lot of inventory to keep track of, and sometimes the computer system is a bit slow. But we manage to keep things moving. It’s a simple operation on a very busy road.
