Surabi Kerala State Handicraft

Surabi Kerala State Handicraft is tucked away in the KTDC Complex over at Marine Onie. It’s a nice enough place to be, right where the breeze comes off the water, though the humidity can be a bit much for some of the wood items we keep. We have all sorts of things that come from different parts of the state. It’s not a giant warehouse, just a regular shop where we try to keep things organized, though it often ends up a bit cluttered. People walking along the waterfront often pop in just to see what we have. We aren't the type to follow you around the store asking if you need help. We mostly just let people look and if they want something, they can come to the counter. The lights in the complex are a bit dim sometimes, but it makes the place feel calm. We get deliveries every now and then, and unpacking the boxes is always a big job that takes up the whole floor. The staff here has been around for a long time, so we know where everything is, even if it looks messy to someone else. It’s a good spot to work. You see all kinds of people passing through. We don't do any big promotions or sales events. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and see who comes by. It’s a steady way to spend the day.
