If you walk down Jew Town, you’ll eventually find us at 6/201. This area has a lot of history, and the buildings reflect that. Shah Exports is tucked into one of these old structures. It’s a unique place to work because of all the tourists and the antique shops nearby. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work for what we need to do. There are stacks of boxes waiting to be sent out and paperwork piled on the desks. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure things are packed correctly. The streets outside are narrow, so moving goods in and out requires some patience. You can hear the voices of people passing by all day long. The building itself has thick walls and small windows, which keeps it a bit cooler than the street, luckily. We’ve been at this address for a long time. It feels like a small part of the local fabric here. There isn't much in the way of decoration in our office. It’s mostly just practical stuff like tape, boxes, and a couple of old fans. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to make sure nothing gets damp. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the busy shops outside. We just focus on the exports and the daily tasks that need finishing before the sun goes down.
