You can find us in the Puthussery Building over in Kaloor. We are situated very close to the Deshabhimani junction, which is a landmark almost everyone in this part of the city knows. Kaloor is always buzzing with activity, and being near such a major junction means there are always people moving about outside our windows. Our clinic is a mix of an optical shop and an eye clinic, so we have different sections for checking eyes and looking at frames. The building is an older one, but it has a lot of character and serves us well. We’ve had many people from the surrounding neighborhoods come to us over the years to get their eyes checked or to find a pair of glasses that sit right on their face. It is not a huge, flashy showroom; it is more of a practical place where we get the job done without too much fuss. Sometimes the rain in Kerala makes it a bit tricky for people to get here, but once they are inside, it’s a calm spot away from the street noise. We see regular customers who have been coming back for a long time, as well as new faces who just happened to be passing by the junction. We just keep things moving, helping one person at a time with their vision.
