We’re located up on the 4th floor of Landmark Enclave on SJ Road in the Valanjampala area of Cochin. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but it’s a good spot to work from. Ernakulam is always bustling, and the rain here can be quite something during the monsoon months. Our office is filled with the usual stuff you’d expect at a CA firm—rows of black folders, computers that have seen better days, and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. We deal with audits, taxation, and all the regular financial bits that businesses need to keep things legal. There are several of us working here, and the atmosphere is usually pretty quiet because everyone is buried in a spreadsheet. We don't have a fancy lobby with modern art. It’s a practical office where the focus is on the numbers. Clients come in, we offer them water, and we get down to looking at their accounts. Sometimes we’re here late at night during the busy season, watching the lights of Cochin from the window. The Landmark Enclave building has been our home for a while now, and we’re used to the rhythm of the city around us. It’s a busy life, and there’s always more paperwork to file or a new tax law to read up on. We just take it one day at a time and keep the calculators moving through the piles of documents.
