Our office is situated on the 3rd floor of Metro Plaza right on Market Road. It is a busy area, so there is always a lot of noise coming up from the street, but we have gotten used to the sound of horns and vendors. We mostly spend our time dealing with paperwork and helping people manage their business stuff. There are four of us working here in a space that is mostly filled with filing cabinets and stacks of folders. It isn't a high-end corporate suite with glass walls; it's just a practical office where we get things done. We usually have the tea kettle going in the corner and a few old chairs for when people come in to talk. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We handle a lot of different tasks throughout the day, from looking over contracts to sorting out administrative headaches for our clients. It is the kind of place where we know the security guard by name and the local tea stall owner knows our order. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We just stay busy with the work that comes across our desks and try to keep everything organized. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need to do on Market Road.
