Orange Kids

We are right at Thaikkavu Junction in Kakkanad. It’s a busy spot where all the traffic meets up. Orange Kids is basically a place for children's stuff, located right there at the junction. I spend my days surrounded by toys, small clothes, and all the things parents need. It gets pretty noisy in here when the kids come in and start testing out the toys or running around the displays. We try to keep things organized, but with little ones, things usually end up on the floor or moved to the wrong shelf. Kakkanad has grown so much lately, so we see a lot of new families moving into the apartments nearby. The shop isn't huge, so we have to be careful about how we stack the boxes. I’m usually busy helping someone find the right size or explaining how a stroller folds up. Sometimes the light in the back flickers a bit, and I have to go jiggle the switch to get it to stay on. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us working in the shop every day. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening rush dies down. People usually stop by on their way home from work because the junction is so convenient. It’s a lot of work keeping up with what’s in stock, but it keeps us busy. We just try to have what people are looking for.
