New India Engineering Stores

We are located in the A.P. K. Tower, Door No. 36/240 on Kariyil Lane, which is just off Lisi Hospital Road in Ernakulam. It’s a busy area with the hospital nearby, so there are always people and rickshaws moving about. Our store is filled with all kinds of engineering spares and tools. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the shop has that look of a place that’s seen a lot of use. The shelves are wooden and a bit worn down, and we have parts in boxes stacked up in every available corner. It’s not a big showroom with bright lights. Most of the time, the lighting is a bit dim and we have to use a torch to find things at the back of the bottom shelves. We spend our days helping people find specific valves, bearings, or whatever else they need for their machinery. It’s mostly regular customers who know exactly what they want, so we don't have to do much explaining. Sometimes the rain in Kerala makes it hard to keep the dampness out of the shop, but we do our best to keep the stock dry. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just rely on being here when people need a part urgently. It’s a simple life, running the store and making sure we have enough stock on hand. The paperwork is done by hand in big registers, and we like it that way because it's what we know.
