If you spend any time on L N T Road, you might have seen our sign for Nawal Auto Parts. It’s a bit of a messy shop, but we usually know exactly where every bolt and gasket is hidden on the shelves. We have been selling parts here for a good number of years. It’s the kind of place where your hands stay a little greasy most of the day from handling the stock. We get a mix of people coming in—some are professional mechanics who know exactly what they want, and others are just folks trying to fix a noise in their car. We spend a lot of time looking through thick catalogs or searching the back room for an old part that isn't made much anymore. The traffic on the road outside is always loud, and the dust settles on the glass counters pretty quick. We don't have a computer for everything, so we still do a lot of things by hand in our ledger. It's a small team here, and we mostly just talk about engines and what's going on in the neighborhood. We don't go in for any of that fancy marketing stuff. We just try to have the right pieces in stock so that people can get their vehicles back on the road without waiting too long for shipping from the city.
