I-leaf Doors

The Muttepadathu Building is where we keep all our stock and do our daily work. It’s located in Padmasree Lane, right in the Mamangalam area. Dealing with doors all day is hard, physical labor. People often come by asking about different kinds of wood or which frame might last longer in the humidity here. Mornings are usually the busiest time for us. Sometimes the big delivery trucks struggle to get down the narrow lane, which causes a bit of a headache. We spend a lot of our time just moving things around to make space. This isn't some fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s just a practical place where we get stuff done. Local folks know where we are. We’ve been set up in this spot for quite a while now. If you know the lane, the building is easy to spot. Our main focus is just getting the orders out to the customers without too many delays. When the heavy rain comes, it’s a real struggle to keep the wood dry while loading. We end up drinking a lot of tea and double-checking our lists during those times. It’s a very simple operation. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to handle the social media. It’s just us here, making sure the door leaves are right. Some days are slow and we just chat, while other days are a total mess of paperwork. We just take it as it comes and try to stay organized in our own way.
