Makersdome

Makersdome is located over on Abdullah Road in Wadakkanchery. We are quite close to the Enkakkad Masjid, so we hear the calls for prayer throughout the day. It is a nice, recognizable part of Thirissur to be in. Our workshop is where we spend almost all our time making things. We are not a big company with a lot of rules; it is more about the craft and getting things right. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many tools and materials scattered around. We started this place because we liked the idea of having a spot to actually build things with our hands. People from the local area stop by often just to see what we are working on. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. Most people find out about us from their friends or by walking past the Masjid. It is a simple life here. We work when there is a project and take it easy when things are slow. Sometimes we have tea with the neighbors and talk about the weather or the news. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a place where we can do our work in peace. It is a decent way to spend the day in a neighborhood we know well. We usually keep the doors open as long as there is light to see by.
