Little Floer Hospital

Kochi is a busy place and Little Floer Hospital is right in the middle of things. Most mornings start early here when the sun is just coming up over the buildings. You can hear the traffic starting to pick up on the main roads. Our staff usually trickles in around eight, some on scooters and others taking the bus. The building itself has been here for a while and shows its age in some spots, but it does the job. We spend a lot of time just keeping things organized because there is always something to do. People from the neighborhood know us mostly by the sign out front. It is not a fancy place with big glass walls or anything like that. Inside, there are chairs for waiting and the hallways are a bit narrow. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the waiting room fills up. We have different rooms for various things and the doctors move back and forth all day. It is mostly just a lot of walking and talking to people who come in through the front doors. We try to keep the fans going when it gets humid, which is almost every day here in Kochi. Looking out the window, you see the same shops and people walking by every day. It feels like a regular part of the street. Nothing too special happens most days, just the usual routine of helping people who walk in.
