Kripa Hospital Diabetic Research Centre

Kripa Hospital Diabetic Research Centre is situated on St. Marys School Road in Puthiyidom. We are very close to the Village Office which is how most people give directions to find us. It is a fairly quiet area compared to the main city but the road gets busy when the school nearby starts or lets out for the day. We spend a lot of time doing research and seeing patients who are dealing with diabetes. The building is functional and we have a small lab where we do all the blood tests and checks. You can usually find a few people waiting in the hall for their results and the staff is always moving around with clipboards and files. We have some posters on the walls about healthy eating and exercise because that is a big part of what we talk about here every day. The fans keep the air moving and there is a small garden area outside that we try to keep green. It is a serious place because of the research we do but we also try to be friendly with everyone who walks through the door. Most of our patients are locals from Puthiyidom who have been coming here for a long time. We just keep doing our daily routines and looking at the data while helping the people who need us. It is a steady life here on the school road.
