Lakeshore Garden

Lakeshore Garden is basically what we do over at H 2101. It’s not a big corporate setup or anything like that. It’s mostly just us dealing with the dirt, the water, and the plants every single day. Some days are better than others, depending on the weather. If it rains too much, we’re out there dealing with the mud, and if it’s too hot, we’re worrying about the watering. It’s a lot of physical labor that most people don’t really see. We spend hours pruning, weeding, and just making sure things don't get overgrown and messy. The location at H 2101 is quiet, which is nice compared to the busier parts of the city. You get used to the sound of the birds and the occasional neighbor walking by. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. Our hands are usually dirty and our boots are worn out. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know what needs to be done. We keep track of the seasons and try to plan ahead, but nature usually has its own ideas. It’s a slow kind of work. You don’t see results overnight. You just keep at it, day after day, and eventually, things start to look right. It’s just a practical way to spend the day, working with what we have in front of us. It takes patience to keep everything alive and growing, and some days are honestly quite tiring when there's too much to do. But we just keep going.
